Qualifications Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related discipline. Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) maintenance, installation, commissioning, or troubleshooting within industrial, energy, manufacturing, or offshore environments. Demonstrated experience working with electrical distribution systems, MCCs, switchgear, control panels, motors, and field instrumentation. Ability to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate instrumentation devices including pressure, temperature, level, and flow instruments. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and technical documentation. Experience performing loop checks, functional testing, commissioning, and startup support activities. Competent in the use of electrical and instrumentation test equipment, including multimeters, insulation testers, calibrators, and loop testing equipment. Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision. Knowledge of permit-to-work systems, industrial safety procedures, and safe work practices. Previous offshore, shutdown, turnaround, or oil & gas experience is considered a strong asset. Excellent communication, teamwork, and reporting skills. Medically fit for industrial and offshore environments, including working at heights and in confined spaces. Valid offshore certifications (BOSIET, TBOSIET, HUET, or equivalent) and a valid offshore medical certificate are preferred or may be required depending on project scope.
