Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Welder position located in Guyana (Lot 282-284 Section “A” Agriculture Road, Triumph, East Coast Demerara). The Welder will perform various welding tasks including arc welding, MIG welding, and TIG welding while ensuring quality and safety standards. They will work closely with different materials, interpret technical drawings, prepare surfaces, and inspect completed welds to meet specifications. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining and troubleshooting welding equipment and collaborating with team members to achieve project objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Arc Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding techniques.
- Knowledge of working with various materials, including metal preparation and finishing.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and ability to inspect and ensure the quality of completed welds.
- Prior experience in the welding and fabrication industry is an asset.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational procedures.
- Certification in welding or a related technical field is preferable.
