Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Make visits and/or calls to customers in assigned areas to promote and sell products and services.
• Identify and execute strategic sales activities geared at increasing subscriber base within our multifaceted market segments.
• Accurately record and update prospect information and maintain listing of such information.
• Accurately record/receive customers’ orders and accompanying application forms.
• Achieve sales objectives while providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Provide relevant responses to customers concerns, service requests based on actual facts related to the company’s products or services.
• Any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Academic Qualifications And Experience Required For Job

• Minimum 5 CXC (Grades I-III), Maths and English included.
• Experience in Sales would be an asset.

As a Feet-on-the-Street (FOTS) Sales Agent, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products and services in an outdoor setting and helping to promote the overall brand. This role may require you to work beyond standard working hours and weekends to meet sales targets and fulfill customer needs.

Sales Prospecting

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Actively approach and engage with potential customers in various villages and streets to generate leads and sales of our products and services.
• Identify and target potential customers in outdoor locations such as events, trade shows, public gatherings, or high-traffic areas.

Product Knowledge

• Develop a deep understanding of the products or services you are selling to effectively communicate their features, benefits, and value to potential customers.

Customer Engagement

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers through effective communication and rapport-building.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and objections in a professional and informative manner.

Sales Targets

• Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas, which may require working overtime during peak periods or special events.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Keep detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions and process all transactions in the POS system.
• Prepare and submit daily or weekly sales reports to management and when and where required.

Market Research

• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to better position our products or services.
• Any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Academic Qualifications And Experience Required For Job

• Five (5) CXC subjects including English Language and Mathematics
• Previous sales experience is preferred, but not mandatory

Functional Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and results-driven with a willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing quotations and providing product information to customers and staff in a timely manner.
• Contacting customers and prospective customers and organizing site visits or meetings.
• Assisting with market research and competitor information.
• Providing in-house training on equipment, especially new ranges.
• Identifying new products that complement the core business, evaluating same and making recommendations.
• Coordinating delivery of equipment including hand-over and pre-delivery inspections.
• Assisting with promotions, demonstrations, and trade shows.
• Conducting after sales site visits and keeping in touch with customers on a scheduled basis.
• Updating prospect and project lists with contact information for key personnel and status of project.
• Preparing documentation for licensing and registration of equipment.
• Preparing monthly reports of sales contacts and summary of sales visits.
• Assisting with visits from supplier representatives and coordinating visit schedules.
• Assisting with the preparation of tenders
• Ensuring that QMS & HSE requirements are always adhered to.
• Assisting with special projects as required.
• Attending all Training Programmes, Seminars and meetings as required by Management.
• Performing any other duties as may be reasonably assigned from time to time.
